The Union Mine Diamondbacks basketball team (El Dorado, CA), was toppled 53-42 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA)

The Knights now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodcreek for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 2. Rio Linda will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 77-42 non-league loss to Sheldon (Sacramento, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 15-2.
