Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) and the host Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA), saw Homer-Center's baseball squad knock off Portage by a count of 7-5.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Northern Cambria Colts (Northern Cambria, PA) in a Heritage battle, on Thursday, March 28. Homer-Center will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 15-14 league win over Marion Center (Marion Center, PA).

The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cambria Heights for a Heritage battle on Tuesday, April 2. Portage will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 13-2 league win over Penns Manor (Clymer, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-0.
