January 2, 2024: Alta, IA 95678 The Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), 98-10 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars go into the Twin Lakes test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Southeast Valley was trounced by South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 66-36, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Storm Lake St. Mary for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4. Whiting will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 100-23 non-league loss to West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-7.
