California High School Basketball - Sheldon can't hold off Pleasant Valley

The Pleasant Valley Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Sheldon Huskies to 53 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Ridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Pleasant Valley will battle a Trojans team coming off a 62-51 league loss to Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 16-4.

The Huskies (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Monterey Trail nudged Burbank (Sacramento, CA), 82-52, in a league contest.
