September 4, 2021: Wilkes-Barre, PA Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the host Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 31-30 in a league test.
With the triumph, Wyoming Area improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA) to battle the Trojans in a Wyoming Valley 3A-A test on Friday, September 10. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-2. Greater Nanticoke Area lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA)
With the loss, Wilkes-Barre drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The travel to Dallas (Dallas, PA) to battle the Mountaineers in a Wyoming Valley 4A test on Friday, September 10. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Dallas won 28-27 in their recent non-league test against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA)
