March 17, 2023: La Jolla, CA 92037 The Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Downey Vikings (Downey, CA), 3-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Bishop's upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Knights host Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Friday, March 17. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 9-1. Shadow Ridge won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Silverado (Las Vegas, NV)
The Vikings now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to University City for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 18. Downey will play a Centurions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Centurions record now stands at 9-5.
