Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Colonial Grenadiers (Orlando, FL), 8-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jones for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. Lake Nona will face a Fightin' Tigers squad coming off a 32-25 non-league loss to University (Orlando, FL). The Fightin' Tigers record now stands at 2-10.
