Ohio High School Basketball - New Bremen tops Houston
January 22, 2024: New Bremen, OH 45869 New Bremen Cardinals (New Bremen, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Houston Wildcats (Houston, OH), 40-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, New Bremen upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals host St. Henry (St. Henry, OH) to play the Redskins in a Midwest bout on Thursday, January 25. The Redskins come into the bout with a record of 9-4. St. Henry won 49-20 in their recent league bout against New Knoxville (New Knoxville, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Anna Rockets (Anna, OH) in a Shelby County bout, on Thursday, January 25. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 26-18 non-league loss to Miami East (Casstown, OH).
