The Central Regional Golden Eagles basketball team (Bayville, NJ), was overwhelmed 53-31 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ)

The Mustangs now possess a 10-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colts Neck for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 2. Brick Memorial will battle a Cougars team coming off a 61-51 non-league loss to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 6-10.

The Golden Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves come into the non-league battle with a 4-14 record. In their last battle, Manalapan was overwhelmed by Middletown South (Middletown, NJ), 59-50, in a league battle.
