Iowa High School Basketball - Northeast bested by Tipton
January 21, 2012: Tipton, IA 52772 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) and the visiting Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA), saw Tipton's basketball squad knock off Northeast by a score of 63-47.
With the victory, Tipton improves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Regina (Iowa City, IA) to battle the Regals in a Cedar Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Regals come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Regina won 61-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Solon (Solon, IA)
Next up, the Rebels battle the Cedar Valley Christian (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Northeast will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 44-29 non-league loss to Springville (Springville, IA).
