The Mission Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Rio Grande City Rattlers to 34 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edinburg North for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Mission will battle a Cougars team coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 7-6.
