October 4, 2019: Dobson, NC 27017

The Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) football edged the host Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), 20-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons face the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Western Piedmont 2A bout, on Friday, October 11. Forbush will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Greyhounds enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 21-16 league win over North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Golden Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels enter the Western Piedmont 2A bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Atkins was nudged by West Stokes (King, NC), 45-14, in a league bout.
