Michigan High School Basketball - Climax-Scotts tops Waldron
January 28, 2022: Climax, MI 49034 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Climax-Scotts Panthers (Climax, MI) and the visiting Waldron Spartans (Waldron, MI), saw Climax-Scotts's basketball squad knock off Waldron by a tally of 55-38.
With the victory, Climax-Scotts improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Bellevue (Bellevue, MI) to play the Broncos in a Southern Central challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Bellevue won 84-12 in their recent league challenge against North Adams-Jerome (North Adams, MI)
Next up, the Spartans play the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southern Central challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. Waldron will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Fighting Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 57-35 league win over Jackson Christian (Jackson, MI).
