Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE), 52-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Thayer Central upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Titans travel to Sutton (Sutton, NE) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Hampton Hawks (Hampton, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Deshler will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 53-38 league loss to High Plains (Polk, NE).
