Oklahoma High School Basketball - Hammon tops Hinton
January 23, 2024: Hinton, OK 73047 Hammon Warriors (Hammon, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hinton Comets (Hinton, OK), 64-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hammon upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Merritt (Elk City, OK) to confront the Oilers in a Five County battle on Friday, January 26. The Oilers come into the battle with a record of 10-8. Merritt won 66-17 in their recent non-league battle against Snyder (Snyder, OK)
The Comets (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Seiling (Seiling, OK). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Seiling beat Vici (Vici, OK), 69-46, in a non-league battle.
