The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Miners come into the Coalfield AA challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Mingo Central was beaten by Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV), 19-16, in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a Coalfield AA match on Friday, September 7. PikeView will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 59-21 non-league loss to Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
