Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Star knocked off by Forest Hills
January 18, 2024: Sidman, PA 15955 The Forest Hills Rangers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting North Star Cougars to 57 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rangers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellwood-Antis for a Laurel Highlands contest on Friday, January 19. Forest Hills will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 65-58 league loss to Tyrone (Tyrone, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-10.
The Cougars (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Shanksville Stonycreek was outscored by Salisbury Elk Lick (Salisbury, PA), 61-28, in a league contest.
