Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Pioneers (Wichita, KS), 79-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northwest upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS) to play the Crusaders in a Greater Wichita City bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 17-1. Kapaun Mt. Carmel won 75-47 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS) in a Greater Wichita City bout, on Tuesday, February 21. West will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 17-1 record after their 56-46 non-league win over Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS).
