The Ridley Raiders basketball team (Folsom, PA), was nudged 41-36 in Saturday's league battle with the host Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA)

The Cougars now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Conestoga for a Central battle on Tuesday, January 12. Springfield will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 44-34 league loss to Penncrest (Media, PA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-7.

The Raiders (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA). The Panthers come into the Central battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Strath Haven was nudged by Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA), 56-42, in a league battle.
