October 9, 2009: Portland, OR 97220 North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the host Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR), 45-42 in a non-league test.
With the win, North Eugene improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR) to confront the Pirates in a 5A Midwestern test on Friday, October 16. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 3-3. Marshfield lost 21-20 in their recent league test against Churchill (Eugene, OR)
With the loss, Parkrose moves to 2-3 on the season. The Broncos host Woodburn (Woodburn, OR) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, October 16. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 1-5. Woodburn lost 48-7 in their recent league battle against Corvallis (Corvallis, OR)
