Texas High School Basketball - Huntsville fells Hardin-Jefferson
December 21, 2023: Huntsville, TX 77320 Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX), 57-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Huntsville upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Lufkin (Lufkin, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-8.
Next up, the Hawks play the Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Hardin-Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 18-2 record after their 62-35 league win over Northwest (Justin, TX).
