In Friday's non-league outing, the North Central Knights (Bassett, NE) basketball squad beat the host Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), by a margin of 53-44.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE). The Renegades go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record.
