January 5, 2024: Hector, MN 55342 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays (Prinsburg, MN) and the host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN), saw Central Minnesota Christian's basketball squad wallop Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart by a count of 78-19.
With the victory, Central Minnesota Christian upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN) to play the Blackjacks in a A Section 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Blackjacks come into the challenge with a record of 13-0. Dawson-Boyd won 67-56 in their recent league challenge against Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Monday, January 8. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 86-80 league loss to B O L D (Olivia, MN).
