The Palisades Pirates football team (Kintnersville, PA), was ripped 48-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA)

The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Eagles come into the Colonial-Schuylkill - Gold challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Blue Mountain trounced Pottsville (Pottsville, PA), 21-14, in a league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Schuylkill Haven for a Colonial-Schuylkill - White challenge on Friday, September 22. Palisades will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 27-21 non-league win over Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-1.
