In Sunday's non-league outing, the Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball squad beat the host Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX), by a count of 49-36.

The Buccaneers (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Jones (Beeville, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Jones defeated Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX), 55-45, in a non-league outing.
