The El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) basketball nipped the host Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL), 61-58 in Tuesday's league test.

The Titans (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Turks go into the Heart of Illinois test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Tremont was tipped by Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL), 66-63, in a league test.
