October 20, 2023: Abernathy, TX 79311 The Littlefield Wildcats football team (Littlefield, TX), was ripped 48-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX)
The Antelopes (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Stanton (Stanton, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 3A-2 Region I District 4 challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Stanton was ripped by Coahoma (Coahoma, TX), 70-28, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Idalou for a 3A-2 Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, October 27. Littlefield will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 14-0 league win over Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
