The Fremont Firebirds football team (Sunnyvale, CA), was ripped 56-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA)

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Scots come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Carlmont trounced Gunn (Palo Alto, CA), 13-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Firebirds now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monta Vista for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 27.
