January 24, 2023: Sunray, TX 79086 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Booker Kiowas (Booker, TX) and the host Sunray Bobcats (Sunray, TX), saw Booker's basketball squad wallop Sunray by a tally of 74-44.
With the victory, Booker improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Kiowas host Gruver (Gruver, TX) to confront the Greyhounds in a 2A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 19-9. Gruver won 58-35 in their recent league challenge against West Texas (Stinnett, TX)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Sunray will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 68-46 league loss to Stratford (Stratford, TX).
