February 15, 2022: St. John, KS 67576 The Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS) basketball crushed the host St. John Tigers (St. John, KS), 62-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Black Bears (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Ell-Saline walloped Peabody-Burns (Peabody, KS), 62-25, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Macksville for a non-league test on Friday, February 18. St. John will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 70-21 non-league win over Otis-Bison (Otis, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-1.
