The Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA) baseball nipped the visiting Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA), 3-2 in Monday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) in a 6A Area 3 contest, on Tuesday, April 16. Morrow will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 3-16 record after their 22-7 non-league loss to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA).

The Tigers now sport a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockdale County for a 6A Area 3 contest on Wednesday, April 17. Alcovy will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-6.
