March 19, 2024: Augusta, GA 30907 Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Augusta, GA), 11-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 21. Westside will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Richmond County Technical Career Magnet for a 2A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, March 21. Butler will confront a Tigers team coming off a 7-0 league win over Laney (Augusta, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
