January 20, 2017: Geneva, NE 68361 The Tri County Trojans basketball team (DeWitt, NE), was overwhelmed 63-35 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Fillmore Central Panthers (Geneva, NE)
The Panthers now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Fillmore Central will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 70-35 non-league win over Raymond Central (Raymond, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-7.
The Trojans (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Griffin come into the C2 District 1 battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Diller-Odell was overwhelmed by Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE), 51-35, in a league battle.
