Massachusetts High School Basketball - St. Mary's nips Bishop Fenwick
February 14, 2024: Lynn, MA 01902 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA) and the visiting Bishop Fenwick Crusaders (Peabody, MA), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad hold off Bishop Fenwick by a tally of 66-62.
With the victory, St. Mary's improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host Malden Catholic (Malden, MA) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 8-9.
Next up, the Crusaders play the Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Bishop Fenwick will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Big Blue come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 63-54 non-league loss to Marblehead (Marblehead, MA).
