Ohio High School Football - McDonald topped by Springfield

The McDonald Blue Devils football team (McDonald, OH), was beaten 38-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH)

The Tigers (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH). The Devils come into the Mahoning Valley challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Western Reserve prevailed over Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH), 41-0, in a league test.

With the loss, McDonald moves to 6-4 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Lucas (Lucas, OH) to confront the Cubs in a non-league test on Saturday, November 9. The Cubs go into the test with a record of 9-2. Lucas lost 14-7 in their recent league test against Lima Central Catholic (Lima, OH)
