Louisiana High School Basketball - Church Point crushes Pine Prairie
January 26, 2024: Church Point, LA 70525 Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA), 66-24 in a league bout.
With the win, Church Point upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Bears travel to Mamou (Mamou, LA) to face the Demons in a 3A District 4 game on Tuesday, January 30. The Demons enter the game with a record of 7-17. Mamou won 61-39 in their recent league game against Port Barre (Port Barre, LA)
With the defeat, Pine Prairie moves to 0-16 on the year. The Panthers travel to Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A District 4 game on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 10-14. Ville Platte won 64-55 in their recent league game against Iota (Iota, LA)
