Washington High School Basketball - Zillah overwhelms Chelan
January 25, 2024: Zillah, WA 98953 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) and the visiting Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA), saw Zillah's basketball squad wallop Chelan by a tally of 59-38.
With the victory, Zillah improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Leopards host Naches Valley (Naches, WA) to confront the Rangers in a 1A South Central - West challenge on Monday, January 29. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Naches Valley won 55-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Kiona-Benton (Benton City, WA)
Next up, the Mountain Goats confront the Omak Pioneers (Omak, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Chelan will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 37-21 league win over Cascade (Leavenworth, WA).
