The Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) basketball nipped the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), 60-55 in Friday's non-league test.

The Thunder (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Horizon got by Mesa (Mesa, AZ), 73-27, in a non-league test.

The Pride now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Skyline for a 5A East Valley test on Monday, December 13. Mountain Pointe will clash with a Coyotes squad coming off a 58-25 non-league win over Hayden (Phoenix, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 6-2.
