The Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) football overcame the visiting Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), 36-12 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 6. Lanier will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 45-0 non-league loss to Milton (Milton, GA).

The Black Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Bears enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record.
