May 3, 2024: Central Valley, NY 10917 The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders baseball team (Central Valley, NY), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY)
The Tigers now hold a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shenendehowa for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 4. Kingston will confront a Plainsmen team coming off a 12-5 league loss to Shaker (Latham, NY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 8-5.
Next, the Crusaders confront the Marlboro Central Dukes (Marlboro, NY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 6. Monroe-Woodbury will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Dukes go into the outing with a 10-4 record after their 6-3 league loss to Rondout Valley (Accord, NY).
