December 27, 2023: Decatur, IL 62522 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) and the visiting Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL), saw MacArthur's basketball squad hold off Granite City by a tally of 58-51.
With the victory, MacArthur improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Generals travel to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. O'Fallon won 67-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Rockford East (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Granite City will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The E-Rabs come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 67-36 non-league loss to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL).
