The Conneaut Area Eagles football team (Linesville, PA), was ripped 70-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA)

The Oilers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Titusville (Titusville, PA). The Rockets come into the District 10 Region 5 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Titusville trounced Warren (Warren, PA), 49-19, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin for a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 20. Conneaut Area will meet a Knights team coming off a 65-6 league loss to Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Knights record now stands at 2-6.
