Iowa High School Basketball - Solon over Regina
January 28, 2023: Iowa City, IA 52245 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) and the host Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA), saw Solon's basketball squad overcome Regina by a tally of 58-49.
With the victory, Solon improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host West Delaware (Manchester, IA) to confront the Hawks in a WAMAC - East challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. West Delaware lost 61-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion (Marion, IA)
Next up, the Regals confront the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) in a River Valley challenge, on Friday, February 3. Regina will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record.
