In Thursday's non-league match, the host Mifflin Punchers basketball team scored a good 72-61 triumph over the Briggs Bruins.

In their next game, the Punchers meet the Worthington Christian Warriors (Worthington, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 9. Mifflin will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
