California High School Basketball - Laguna Creek tops Valley

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) and the host Valley Vikings (Sacramento, CA), saw Laguna Creek's basketball squad knock off Valley by a count of 55-35.

With the victory, Laguna Creek upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Franklin (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Franklin lost 54-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 39-31 non-league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA).
