Pennsylvania High School Football - Hempfield Area felled by Canon-McMillan

October 1, 2021: Canonsburg, PA 15317

The Hempfield Area Spartans football team (Greensburg, PA), was knocked off 45-27 in Friday's league challenge with the host Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA)

The Big Macs (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Raiders come into the WPIAL AAAAAA Quad County challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Seneca Valley was knocked off by Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA), 35-0, in a league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Baldwin for a WPIAL AAAAAA Quad County challenge on Friday, October 8. Hempfield Area will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 21-10 league win over Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-5.
