Louisiana High School Football - Gueydan smashes North Central

September 9, 2022: Gueydan, LA 70542

The Gueydan Bears (Gueydan, LA) football routed the visiting North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA), 54-12 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears face the Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 16. Gueydan will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Redhawks enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 29-14 non-league loss to St. John (Plaquemine, LA).

The Hurricanes (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Thrive Academy was ripped by Centerville (Centerville, LA), 34-8, in a non-league challenge.
