The Groton Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Webster Bearcats to 30 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dakota Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Groton will battle a Panthers team coming off a 77-70 non-league loss to Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 9-2.

The Bearcats (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against West Central (Hartford, SD). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, West Central triumphed over Parker (Parker, SD), 70-34, in a non-league contest.
