December 8, 2023: Groton, SD 57445 In Friday's non-league outing, the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Groton Tigers (Groton, SD), by a margin of 58-36.
The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Flandreau (Flandreau, SD). The Fliers go into the A Region 2 outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Flandreau smashed Chester (Chester, SD), 57-38, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sisseton for a A Region 1 outing on Thursday, December 14. Groton will clash with a Redmen squad coming off a 60-33 non-league loss to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Redmen record now stands at 0-2.
