South Dakota High School Basketball - Hamlin overwhelms Redfield
January 18, 2024: Redfield, SD 57469 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) and the host Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), saw Hamlin's basketball squad wallop Redfield by a tally of 83-19.
With the victory, Hamlin improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Dakota Valley won 86-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Tri-Valley (Colton, SD)
Next up, the Pheasants confront the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots (Tulare, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Redfield will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 67-53 non-league loss to Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD).
